Hi everyone, Nevaeh here! Whether you’re a prospective student or current Towson Tiger, I’m excited to share my top 5 free resources at Towson University to help you thrive personally, professionally and academically!
Campus Recreation
More than just a gym, Campus Recreation is dedicated to creating a vibrant and healthy campus through programming and services that promote belonging and holistic well-being. See some of their offerings below.
Massage Chairs
You deserve to relax! Located in the recovery zone, Campus Rec’s new massage chairs offer therapeutic massages that can be custom tailored to fit your lifestyle and goals. You can even choose a soundtrack with pre-programed soothing sounds of nature or by using the Bluetooth feature to connect to your phone.
Quiet Spaces
Intimated or tired of the crowds? You can reserve a space in the large fitness studio to reduce crowds, noise, and distractions. This gives you privacy with all the same access to studio equipment (core and medicine balls, light dumbbells, mats and aerobic steps). Bring your headphones and get ready to move.
Group Fitness Classes
Yoga, boxing, cycling, dance, strength training and so many more, Campus Rec offers a variety of group fitness classes to enhance lifelong fitness and healthy lifestyles surrounded by community. Their certified instructors teach safe, fun, and inclusive classes designed for all participants, regardless of your fitness level.
